Purbeck Film Festival – Halloween Screening

Join us for our fourth Purbeck Film Festival screening!
We’ve done history, comedy, queer romance, and indie Korean drama – but this year (on Halloween, no less!) we couldn’t resist something spooky.
We’ll be showing The Borderlands (2014), a found-footage supernatural horror that’s fast becoming a cult classic. Set in a remote Devon church that looks uncannily like our own Holy Rood, it’s rated 15 – but don’t worry, it’s not gory. This is all about atmosphere, tension, and proper old-fashioned jump scares.
To keep you warm before the chills begin, we’ll be serving Shepherd’s Pie. If you’d like to lend a hand with the cooking, we’d love the help – email events@coombekeynes.com
