DESCRIPTION:Coombe Keynes is delighted to be taking part in the Purbeck Film Festival. \nThere will be a showing of  Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris (PG) introduced by our very own Olivia Hetreed. \nTickets are £7.00: £5.50 (students and under 25s) and can be purchased from the Purbeck Film Festival website. \nA French-themed supper and drinks menu will be available in the church from 6pm and Olivia will begin her introduction at 7.30pm. \nThis event is sure to prove very popular\, so please book your tickets early to avoid disappointment. \n \n  \nMrs Harris Goes to Paris (PG) \nDirector: Antony Fabian\nStarring: Lesley Manville\, Jason Isaacs\, Rose Williams\nComedy | Drama | UK | 2022\n1 hr 55 mins \nA historical comedy-drama with a fabulous cast\, directed and produced by Anthony Fabian\, from a screenplay he co-wrote with Olivia Hetreed\, Carrol Cartwright and Keith Thompson. Based on the 1958 novel Mrs ‘Arris Goes to Paris by Paul Gallico\, it tells the story of a widowed9 cleaning lady in 1950s London who falls madly in love with a couture Dior dress and decides that she must have one of her own. After she works\, starves and gambles to raise the funds to pursue her dream\, she embarks on an adventure to Paris which will change not only her own outlook\, but the very future of the House of Dior.
