DESCRIPTION:The Royal Rood is back in business! \nAfter the success of the Jubilee Pub Night last year\, we’re hosting a series of Pub Nights across the year. \nThey’re casual\, drop-in evenings where you can enjoy a glass of wine or a pint of beer and packet of crisps with the neighbours. We’ll also have cards\, darts and other pub games. \nIt’s completely free\, but please bring your own drinks and we’ll provide pub games and good company. \nPub Nights this year are: \nSaturday March 25th  from 7.30pm \nSaturday May 6th – Coronation Pub Night and Curry Supper from 7pm\n(please bring a contribution to our curry feast) \nNovember 25th from 7.30pm \nThere’s no entry fee and no need to RSVP\, but a small contribution towards the heating bill is always appreciated. DESCRIPTION:Book now for Film Night at Coombe Keynes Church! \nThe Coombe Keynes Trust is taking part in the Purbeck Film Festival this year\, with a showing of ‘Summerland’ (rated PG) on Friday 28th October. \nThe film is set during World War II and is about an Englishwoman who opens her heart to an evacuee after initially resolving to be rid of him. It’s a moving journey of womanhood\, love and friendship featuring Gemma Arterton\, Gugu Mbatha-Raw\, Penelope Wilton and Tom Courtney. \nThe film kicks off at 7.30pm – but we’ll be serving food and drinks beforehand. \nPlease do join us from 6pm to enjoy a drink from Barman Jan and a bowl of chilli with nachos and guacamole. DESCRIPTION:This year’s Harvest Supper is on Saturday Sept 24th.\n \nWe’re laying on a Ploughman’s supper with all the usual fare along with some hot pasties and a glass of Robin’s cider to help wash it down.\n \nTo accompany the Ploughman’s\, we’re asking for contributions to a ‘Community Cheeseboard’.
